Today obesity is a huge problem in the world especially in The United States of America. The changing food culture of American society over the decades has cost the lives of many Americans, in which most of the people were adults. According to statistics of NHANES 2016, approximately 39.6% of American adults were obese of which approximately 37.9% were men and 41.1% were women. The obesity rates of American society are alarming and indicate that we need to change our lifestyle. Lack of physical activity and inappropriate food consumption being the main reasons for the increasing rate of obesity in America. But the key catalyst in the present state of health of Americans is the devastating eating habit we have today. Most Americans today rely on beverages, fast food, and junk food that leads to deteriorating health conditions and health issues like diabetes, increased cholesterol, and high blood pressure.


The growing rate of inaccurate food culture in today’s world risks the life of many individuals. But major media food industries and brands cannot do anything if you decide to change the lifestyle for your health. For the past few decades, veganism has been the talk of the town in improving the healthy lifestyles of millions of people across the globe.
